We have personally used wiseco pistons in a large number of our customer engine builds. Never have we encountered any issues in the performance realm, from install, to tuning, to real-world applications Wiseco has always delivered optimum performance and longevity.
 
**Some of the part #'s above are candidates for wiseco's proprietary "Armor Plating" which is a dry film, permanent lubricant that bonds to the piston. This is done to reduce friction, extend the wear of the piston & the bore, and actually helps the piston run quieter. The armor plating is also applied to the dome of the piston and the ring grooves. To prevent microwelding & provide detonation protection, essentially creating a "bullet-proof" piston. This would cost an additional $80 for the armor plating spec piston set.
